Jaja ... dahingehend hat sich auch bei Win7 scheinbar nicht geändert.

Dass Einzige was ein wenig Linderung bringen soll, ist eine SSD-HDD ... da damit die Zugriffszeiten um einiges besser sein sollen, als bei normalen HDD's.

Ich meinte das eigentlich in Bezug auf TQ.
Normaler Weise gibt es bei mir keine Probleme - habe die Auslagerungsdatei deaktiviert und es lief alles problemlos, bis ich TQ installiert habe. Denn zum Starten von TQ muss diese zwangsweise angelegt sein. Das ist eben genau der Punkt der mich stört.

Ach so ... Verstehe, bzw. habe da wohl vorher etwas nicht Richtig verstanden

... naja, man kann ja auch unter Win7 die Auslagerungsdatei Einstellen, wie man es haben will ... ich bin da sowieso wieder am Überlegen, ob es auch da nicht - wie unter XP - u.U. sinnvoller ist, sie "fix" zu definieren und ev. auch auf eine andere Partition zu Verfrachten ... und dann halt so Klein wie möglich Einstellen.

Wenn Du die temporären Verzeichnisse gleich mit auf diese Festplatte legst, dann sollte schon ein Unterschied bemerkbar sein, IMO.

Naja, so hatte ich es unter XP (fixe Auslagerungsdatei und auch die Temps dorthin "verbogen") und könnte nicht viel Feststellen zu W7 i.M., wo ich mal die Standardeinstellungen gelassen habe ...

Was die Temps betrifft: leider hilft es ja nicht 100%ig wenn man die Systemvariablen %TEMP% und %TMP% verbiegt ...

Naja, die aktuellsten sind es mal nicht, vom 29.07.2009, aber für TQ reichen sich mal sicher ... wenn Du noch andere, neuere Spiele mal installierst, dann wäre ein Update u.U. anzuraten!

Aber auch hier, weiß ich jetzt nicht, wie Nvidia bez. Treiber für die Mobile-GPU's es hält ... ATI/AMD sind ja da z.B. sehr nachlässig, die Überlassen dies eigentlich den Laptop-Herstellern und die machen auch etwas ... so gibt es zwar einen Catalyst 9.9, der allerdings nur Beta ist, die Standard-Treiber sind da z.B. auf 9.12!

Ich möchte ja nicht angeben,Crysis läuft auch auf Sehr Hoch relativ flüßig
